Best Hotels in Da Nang 2026: Beach Resorts to Budget Options

· Updated · 6 min read City Guide
Beach hotel, Da Nang

Da Nang has a wide hotel range anchored by international luxury properties on the beach strip and practical mid-range options in the city centre. The city’s compact layout and central airport mean hotel location matters less than in most Vietnamese cities - everything is within a short Grab ride.

Luxury (₫2,500,000+ / $100+ per night)

Hyatt Regency Da Nang (My Khe Beachfront): Consistently one of Da Nang’s top-rated properties. Direct beach access on My Khe with a long beachfront, multiple pools including an adults-only infinity pool, and the Green House restaurant serving Vietnamese and international cuisine. Rooms on upper floors have panoramic ocean views. The resort also has a kids’ club and family pool area. ₫3,500,000–8,000,000 ($140–320) as of 2026.

InterContinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort (Son Tra Peninsula): Built dramatically into a cliff on Son Tra peninsula above its own private beach. Designed by architect Bill Bensley, with cable car access between the reception level and the beach. Arguably the most impressive resort in central Vietnam. The Long Bar, extending 30 metres with views over the bay, is worth a visit even for non-guests. ₫5,000,000–15,000,000 ($200–600) as of 2026. Significantly more expensive than other Da Nang options but a different experience entirely.

Pullman Da Nang Beach Resort (My Khe Beachfront): On My Khe with direct beach access. Mid-luxury positioning - good infinity pool, beachfront restaurant, and well-maintained grounds without the extreme prices of the Hyatt or InterContinental. The rooms are spacious by Vietnamese standards at approximately 35 sqm for base category. ₫2,500,000–5,000,000 ($100–200) as of 2026.

Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort (Han River area): Large resort on the riverfront approaching the beach zone. ₫3,200,000+ ($128+) as of 2026. Large rooms, pool, strong service.

Four Points by Sheraton Da Nang (My Khe): Approachable luxury on My Khe, from approximately ₫2,800,000 ($112) as of 2026.

Naman Retreat (south of Da Nang, near Hoi An): Boutique resort halfway between Da Nang and Hoi An on a quiet stretch of beach. Pool villas with private plunge pools, a strong spa programme, and a quieter atmosphere than the main Da Nang strip. Good for couples. ₫3,000,000–10,000,000 ($120–400) as of 2026.

Mid-range (₫700,000–2,500,000 / $28–100 per night)

Premier Village Da Nang Resort (beachfront): All-villa property on the beachfront between Da Nang and Hoi An. Villas come with private pools and full kitchens - good for families or groups who want more space than standard hotel rooms. ₫2,000,000–4,000,000 ($80–160) as of 2026.

Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort (near Marble Mountains): Located near the Marble Mountains on a quieter section of beach. Well maintained with direct beach access and a large pool. The Marble Mountains are walking distance, which is a genuine advantage. ₫1,000,000–2,500,000 ($40–100) as of 2026.

TMS Hotel Da Nang Beach (My Khe): Rooftop pool overlooking My Khe, doubles from approximately ₫1,600,000 ($64) as of 2026. Punches above its price point.

Brilliant Hotel (city centre): Reliable mid-range in the city centre near the Han River. Good breakfast with Vietnamese and Western options, helpful staff, and clean rooms. Walking distance to the Dragon Bridge and Bach Dang Street restaurants. ₫700,000–1,400,000 ($28–56) as of 2026.

Azura Hotel (city centre, Han River): City centre property near the Han River with clean, modern rooms and reliable wifi. The rooftop has views over the river. Good base for exploring the city side of Da Nang. ₫600,000–1,200,000 ($24–48) as of 2026.

Haian Riverside Hotel (Han River): Smaller and more affordable Han River option at approximately ₫900,000–1,200,000 ($36–48) as of 2026. Good position on the river.

Fivitel Da Nang (An Thuong area): Modern hotel in the An Thuong beach area with a rooftop pool and bar. Walking distance to both the beach and the An Thuong restaurant strip. Good for travellers who want beach proximity without resort prices. ₫800,000–1,800,000 ($32–72) as of 2026.

Budget (₫250,000–700,000 / $10–28 per night)

An Thuong guesthouses: The streets behind the main An Thuong hotel strip have budget guesthouses with private rooms from ₫250,000–400,000 ($10–16) - clean rooms with air conditioning, hot water, and en-suite bathrooms. The beach is the same 5–15 minute walk as from the pricier beachfront hotels.

City centre guesthouses: The streets behind the Han River waterfront have budget guesthouses with private rooms from ₫250,000–500,000 ($10–20). Less beach access but better for the Han River restaurant scene and Dragon Bridge.

Christina’s Da Nang (An Thuong): Small family-run hotel with clean rooms, breakfast included, and a welcoming atmosphere. Popular with couples and solo travellers. ₫350,000–600,000 ($14–24) as of 2026.

An Thuong - extended stays and digital nomads

For extended stays, the area around An Thuong Street (sometimes called “Western Street” by the expat community) in the My Khe zone has the highest concentration of work-friendly cafes with reliable wifi, coworking options like Enouvo Space (day pass from approximately ₫100,000 / $4), and international restaurants.

Short-term apartment rentals in the An Thuong area are the typical long-stay nomad choice. Studios with kitchen, wifi, and air conditioning start from approximately ₫5,000,000–8,000,000 ($200–320) per month. One-bedroom apartments with better facilities run ₫8,000,000–15,000,000 ($320–600) per month as of 2026. The area has its own self-contained infrastructure - supermarkets, laundries, gyms - so day-to-day living doesn’t require leaving the neighbourhood.

What to look for when booking

Direct beach access: This means no road crossing to reach the sand. Worth paying extra for if beach time is the priority. Hotels on the seaward side of the beachfront road have this; hotels on the landward side often do not.

Pool: Da Nang’s beaches have rough surf and red flag conditions from November to March. Outside the April–October swimming season, a hotel pool becomes essential rather than optional.

Airport proximity: Da Nang International Airport is centrally located - approximately 5–10 minutes from both the city centre and beach hotels by car. Do not pay extra for airport transfer packages. A standard Grab ride costs ₫30,000–80,000 ($1.20–3.20) to most hotels.

Peak season pricing: July–August is the domestic holiday peak when Vietnamese families head to the beach. Hotel prices spike significantly, particularly on the beachfront strip. Book at least one month ahead during this period. The shoulder months of March–May and September–October offer the best combination of good weather and reasonable rates.

Booking platforms: Direct booking through hotel websites sometimes offers better rates than Booking.com or Agoda for mid-range Vietnamese hotels. For budget guesthouses, walk-in rates are often lower than online rates, particularly in the off-season.
