Where to Stay in Quy Nhon 2026: Beachfront Hotels and Bai Xep
Quy Nhon accommodation divides between the city beach area and the smaller bay alternatives outside the city. The city centre offers convenience; Bai Xep and the southern beaches offer a quieter experience.
City centre beachfront
The main accommodation zone. Hotels and guesthouses facing Quy Nhon Beach directly or one block back. The most convenient for city restaurants and the main beach.
Avani Quy Nhon Resort: The best upscale option on the main beach. Pool, good restaurant, beachfront. ₫1,500,000–4,000,000 ($60–160).
Seagull Hotel: Long-established mid-range hotel directly on the beach road. Good location, pool, reliable quality. ₫500,000–1,200,000 ($20–48).
Budget guesthouses: Multiple family-run guesthouses on the streets behind the main beach road. Private rooms from ₫200,000–450,000 ($8–18).
Bai Xep Fishing Village
10km south of the city. Several small guesthouses in a traditional fishing village setting with a calm bay beach. Better for travellers who want a quiet, authentic coastal experience over city convenience.
Bai Xep Guesthouses: Basic rooms directly in the village. ₫200,000–400,000 ($8–16). Simple facilities but the setting is genuinely special — fishing boats on the beach at dawn, the village operating around you.
Ghenh Rang area (south beach)
The rocky headland south of the main city beach has a few small properties in a quieter setting than the main strip. Within cycling distance of the city centre.
Practical notes
Booking: Quy Nhon’s accommodation is not heavily concentrated on international booking platforms. Walking in and checking rooms directly is acceptable outside Vietnamese holidays. The Avani and larger hotels are bookable normally online.
Getting around: Motorbike hire (₫150,000–200,000 / $6–8 per day) from most guesthouses. Necessary for reaching Eo Gio, Bai Xep (from the city), and the Cham tower sites.
