Cebu Pacific has announced two new direct routes connecting the Philippines with Vietnam, both launching in the final quarter of 2026. The routes open additional non-stop options between Southeast Asia’s two most popular low-cost travel markets.

The Two New Routes

Cebu (Mactan-Cebu International) → Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat): Service begins 26 October 2026, operating three times weekly. This is the first scheduled non-stop connection between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City.

Clark (Clark International) → Hanoi (Noi Bai International): Service begins 20 November 2026, also three times weekly. Clark, located north of Manila in Pampanga Province, serves as an alternative hub for travellers in Central Luzon.

Both routes were announced in early August 2026. Fares have not yet been published for the full schedule; Cebu Pacific typically releases introductory prices during promotional windows ahead of route launches.

Who Benefits

For travellers in the Philippines planning a Vietnam trip, both routes reduce the need to transit through Manila. Cebu-based travellers can now reach Ho Chi Minh City without an extra domestic leg. Those in Central Luzon gain a direct Clark departure to Hanoi.

In Vietnam, the new connections create direct access to the Philippines’ Visayas region and Central Luzon for the first time on a scheduled carrier. Previous options involved transit through Ninoy Aquino International or other hubs.

Booking and Visas

Booking is expected to open on Cebu Pacific’s website in the coming weeks. Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Filipino nationals currently require a visa for Vietnam; Vietnamese nationals require a visa or eVisa for the Philippines. Check the latest visa rules before booking, as regulations can change.

Our Ho Chi Minh City guide covers the districts, transport links, and what to expect on arrival at Tan Son Nhat.
