Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2026 Runs 22–26 July at East Sea Park
The Da Nang Enjoyment Festival 2026 runs from 22 to 26 July at East Sea Park, centred on My Khe Beach in the heart of the city. The five-day event combines free outdoor performances, night beach parties, kite light shows, and a formal opening ceremony on the evening of 23 July.
Programme Highlights
The festival is one of Da Nang’s signature summer events and spans several distinct activity zones along the beach:
Opening Ceremony (23 July, evening): The official launch includes a cultural performance programme and illuminated displays over the beach. The ceremony is free to attend and draws large crowds - arriving early to secure a good viewing position is advisable.
Kite Light Shows: An annual centrepiece of the Da Nang Enjoyment Festival, illuminated kite displays run across multiple evenings. Giant kites fitted with LED lights are flown from the beach after dark, with coordinated colour sequences set to music.
Night Beach Party: A dedicated after-dark event for 24–25 July features live DJs, beach activities, and food stalls running until late.
Daytime Activities: East Sea Park hosts sports competitions, traditional games, and handicraft demonstrations during daytime hours across all five days.
Practical Notes for Visitors
- Location: East Sea Park (Công Viên Biển Đông), directly adjacent to My Khe Beach, central Da Nang
- Admission: Most events are free to attend; specific ticketed performances (if any) will be announced by Da Nang Tourism Board closer to the date
- Transport: The park is accessible by motorbike taxi, Grab, or on foot from hotels along the My Khe beachfront strip
- Crowds: Evening events - particularly the opening ceremony and night beach party - attract substantial crowds. The beach road (Võ Nguyên Giáp) is partially closed to traffic during peak event hours
Timing Your Visit
The festival falls during Da Nang’s high summer season. July weather is typically hot and dry on the beachfront, with sea swimming conditions at their best. Accommodation along the My Khe strip books up quickly for the festival weekend - 23–26 July bookings should be confirmed well in advance.
