VietJet Air launched direct flights between Nha Trang’s Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) and Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN) on 1 June 2026. The service operates four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, connecting one of Vietnam’s most popular beach destinations directly to Southeast Asia’s main aviation hub.

The route reduces Nha Trang travel times significantly for visitors from Singapore and makes it easier to combine a Nha Trang beach stay with onward travel to other Southeast Asian cities via Changi. Previously, travellers needed to connect through Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi to reach Nha Trang, adding several hours to the journey from Singapore.

What the route adds for travellers

Cam Ranh Airport sits approximately 30 km south of Nha Trang city centre, and taxis, shuttles, and ride-hailing apps are available from the terminal. Flight time between Cam Ranh and Changi is approximately two hours. VietJet typically prices new routes competitively - promotional one-way fares from SGD 49 to SGD 99 are common on launch routes, though these require flexibility on dates and early booking. Standard fares once promotional inventory sells out range from approximately SGD 120–200 one-way depending on season and booking lead time.
