Journey time is approximately 50–60 minutes, including a brief stop to drop passengers at different points in the city. Shuttles typically terminate near the Da Lat central market (Cho Da Lat) on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, which puts you within walking distance of most budget guesthouses and mid-range hotels in the backpacker strip. From there, a short xe om (motorbike taxi) ride costs 20,000–30,000 VND to most addresses in the centre.

At 70,000–80,000 VND per person, this is the right call for solo travellers arriving on daytime flights who are not in a rush. It is not suited to late arrivals, families with pushchairs, or anyone staying outside the central zone.

Grab (~180,000–230,000 VND)

Grab operates at Lien Khuong Airport, though driver density is lower here than in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or Da Nang. Open the app as your flight lands - signal inside the terminal is decent. Set your pickup to the designated ride-hailing zone marked near the exit. During daytime, you can usually expect a driver within 10–15 minutes.
