Mai Chau’s hotel options beyond the stilt-house homestays cover everything from boutique eco-lodges to simple guesthouses. The best properties use the valley scenery as their main asset.

Mai Chau Ecolodge: The standout property in the valley. Wooden bungalows on stilts in a garden setting with direct views of the rice paddies. Good pool, solid restaurant (Vietnamese and Western), and an activities desk that organises cycling and trekking. Mai Chau Lodge: Well-maintained resort with bungalow-style rooms on the valley floor. Mountain views, pool, restaurant. More formal than the Ecolodge but similarly comfortable. ₫2,000,000–4,000,000 ($80–160).
