Luxury

Six Senses Con Dao Dat Doc Beach, 3km from Con Son town. The defining property on the island — private beach, overwater bungalows (unique in southern Vietnam), full spa, and multiple restaurant concepts. Runs a turtle conservation programme with the national park and uses sustainable energy sourcing. ₫10,000,000–40,000,000+ ($400–1,600+) per night. Advance booking essential — occupancy is high year-round.

Mid-range

Con Dao Resort Waterfront location in the centre of town. Colonial-style architecture with a pool. Sea views from upper-floor rooms. Good service for arranging tours and diving. ₫2,000,000–5,000,000 ($80–200) per night.

Poulo Condore Boutique Hotel A smaller property designed with attention to the island’s colonial history. Good location, reliable reviews. ₫1,200,000–2,500,000 ($48–100).

Côn Đảo Camping Not camping in the conventional sense — a collection of bungalows on a beachfront near town. Simpler than a hotel but with more outdoor character. ₫800,000–1,500,000 ($32–60).

Budget

ATC Hotel Con Dao Straightforward mid-range that edges into budget territory. Clean rooms, competent service, helpful for tour logistics. ₫600,000–1,200,000 ($24–48).

Family guesthouses (nha nghi) Several family-run operations in the town centre. Basic a/c rooms, simple breakfast. ₫300,000–600,000 ($12–24). The island is small enough that even budget accommodation gives access to everything by motorbike.

Booking notes

Con Dao has limited accommodation capacity relative to peak demand. Book well in advance for July–October (turtle season) and Vietnamese public holidays. Last-minute availability is genuinely scarce in season. Six Senses books out months ahead in high season and should be reserved as far in advance as possible.
